| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of June Marilyn Mingus of Mapleton, who | 4 | | passed away on May 2, 2020; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, June Mingus was born in Peoria to Lloyd and | 6 | | Elizabeth (Edens) Grage on July 2, 1931; she married Walter | 7 | | Lloyd Mingus in Peoria on March 28, 1950; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, June Mingus was a homemaker; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, June Mingus was devoted to her faith and was a | 10 | | member of Christ Lutheran Church in Peoria; she belonged to the | 11 | | Femmes Unir Bartonville Women's Club for many years; she | 12 | | enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and cat, | 13 | | Priscilla; she will be remembered as an inspiration and | 14 | | blessing to all who knew and loved her; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, June Mingus was preceded in death by her brother, | 16 | | Lloyd Jr.; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, June Mingus is survived by her husband, Walter | 18 | | Lloyd Mingus; her children, Dave (Candra) Mingus, John (Debra) | 19 | | Mingus, and June (Joseph) Bembenek; her grandsons, Seth, | 20 | | Jonathan, Adam, and Johnathan "Gus"; and her |

| 3 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | 4 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 5 | | June Marilyn Mingus and extend our sincere condolences to her | 6 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | 7 | | further
