| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Joseph James Cannon of Bloomington, who | 4 | | passed away on April 16, 2020; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Cannon was born in Charleston, Missouri to | 6 | | Houston B. and Willie Mae Lewis Cannon on January 14, 1943; he | 7 | | served in the U.S. Army; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Cannon was known as an excellent cook, | 9 | | singer, and artist; he enjoyed fishing and spending time with | 10 | | his family; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Cannon was preceded in death by his parents | 12 | | and his son, Joey Cannon; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Cannon is survived by his children, Renee | 14 | | Oliver, Sonia Cannon, Shea Cannon, and Tracy Curlee; his | 15 | | siblings, Carl Cannon, Doris Woods, and Charles Harris; and his | 16 | | many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; therefore, be it
