| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of
Juan Delgado Ortiz, who passed away on | 4 | | November 24, 2012; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Juan Delgado Ortiz was born on May 16, 1921, in | 6 | | Yabucoa, Puerto Rico; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Juan Delgado Ortiz served his country with pride | 8 | | and distinction as a member of the United States Armed Forces | 9 | | during World War II; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Juan Delgado Ortiz worked for Inland Steel for | 11 | | over 20 years; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Juan Delgado Ortiz is survived by his wife of 66 | 13 | | years, Angelina Delgado; his brother, Benito Delgado Ortiz; his | 14 | | sister, Carmen Delgado Ortiz; his children, Juan Delgado, Jr. | 15 | | (Elizabeth), Angela Zechinato (Max), Anita Bogus (Dennis), | 16 | | Jaime Delgado (Lucy), Illinois State Senator William Delgado | 17 | | (Iris), Rick Delgado (Cynthia), and Mili Torres (Ernie); his 14 | 18 | | grandchildren; his 7 great-grandchildren; and his many nieces | 19 | | and nephews; therefore, be it
