| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 |
| learn of the death of
Angela Faye Saffo-Daniel, who passed away | 4 |
| on December 16, 2008; and
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Angela Faye Saffo-Daniel was born on June 1, 1956 | 6 |
| in Atlanta, Georgia; her parents were Walter James and Georgia | 7 |
| Grace Saffo; and
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Angela Faye Saffo-Daniel grew up in Cleveland, | 9 |
| Ohio and graduated from Case Western Reserve University; and
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, Angela Faye Saffo-Daniel was a successful | 11 |
| pharmaceutical sales manager, giving over 20 years of dedicated | 12 |
| service to the Bristol-Myers Squibb Company; she was recently | 13 |
| employed with Tiba Oncology, serving as a Business Development | 14 |
| Manager; and
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, Angela Faye Saffo-Daniel was preceded in death by | 16 |
| her father and her brother, Felix Bernard Saffo; and | 17 |
| WHEREAS, Angela Faye Saffo-Daniel is survived by her | 18 |
| adoring husband of 15 years, D.L. Daniel; her children, Darron | 19 |
| Bernard Daniel and Aliyah Faith Daniel; her mother; her | 20 |
| siblings, Reginald (Karen) Saffo, Marcus Saffo, Gerald (Debra) |

| Saffo, Dana (Sarene) Saffo, and Diana (Darryl) Shropshire; and | 2 |
| her many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and
| 3 |
| WHEREAS, Angela Faye Saffo-Daniel touched many lives with | 4 |
| her gentle spirit, which guided many to "step out on faith" and | 5 |
| blessed everyone she came into contact with; therefore, be it
| 6 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL | 7 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | 8 |
| her family and friends, the passing of Angela Faye | 9 |
| Saffo-Daniel; and be it further
| 10 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 11 |
| presented to the family of Angela Faye Saffo-Daniel as an | 12 |
| expression of our sympathy.
