| 1 | | HOUSE RESOLUTION | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 | | Representatives wish to recognize Chief Mary Frake of the Lake | 4 | | in the Hills Police Department on the occasion of her | 5 | | retirement; and | 6 | | WHEREAS, Chief Frake has served as a beacon of integrity | 7 | | and leadership within the Lake in the Hills Police Department | 8 | | in McHenry County since 1994; and | 9 | | WHEREAS, Chief Frake began her illustrious career as a | 10 | | patrol officer, walking the beat and ensuring the safety of | 11 | | neighborhoods in Lake in the Hills with diligence and | 12 | | compassion; and | 13 | | WHEREAS, While serving as investigator and co-commander of | 14 | | the McHenry County Major Investigations Assistance Team, Chief | 15 | | Frake demonstrated exceptional investigative skills and a | 16 | | relentless pursuit of justice, solving complex cases and | 17 | | bringing closure to victims and their families; and | 18 | | WHEREAS, Chief Frake was promoted to her current position | 19 | | within the Lake in the Hills Police Department in 2021; during | 20 | | her tenure, she has provided visionary leadership, implemented | 21 | | innovative strategies, and fostered positive community |

| 1 | | relations; and | 2 | | WHEREAS, Throughout her distinguished career, Chief Frake | 3 | | has exemplified the highest standards of professionalism, | 4 | | integrity, and honor, earning the respect and admiration of | 5 | | colleagues, subordinates, and citizens alike; and | 6 | | WHEREAS, Chief Frake has announced plans for her | 7 | | well-deserved retirement, marking the conclusion of an | 8 | | exceptional career after 30 years of dedicated service; | 9 | | therefore, be it | 10 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | 11 | | HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | 12 | | we recognize Chief Mary Frake of the Lake in the Hills Police | 13 | | Department on her retirement, and we thank her for her | 14 | | outstanding service, unwavering dedication, and invaluable | 15 | | contributions to the safety and well-being of her community; | 16 | | and be it further | 17 | | RESOLVED, That we wish her a joyous and fulfilling | 18 | | retirement; and be it further | 19 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 20 | | presented to Chief Frake as an expression of our esteem and | 21 | | respect. |
