| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate the Massac Junior High | 4 | | School girls basketball team, the Lady Trojans, on winning the | 5 | | 2019 and the 2020 Southern Illinois Junior High School Athletic | 6 | | Association Class L State Championship; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, On January 26th, 2019 the Lady Trojans won a 44-38 | 8 | | victory over Hamilton County Junior High School at Rend Lake | 9 | | College; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, On February 1st, 2020 the Lady Trojans won a 47-38 | 11 | | victory over Centralia Junior High School; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, The Lady Trojans finished with records 24-5 in the | 13 | | 2018-2019 season and 25-2 in the 2019-2020 season; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, The Lady Trojans have been led in both seasons by | 15 | | Coach Abby Kaylor and Coach Mallory McVey; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, The Lady Trojans are Victoria Swafford, Trinity | 17 | | Lott, Monique Hart, Josie Walker, Celiegh Culver, Natalie | 18 | | Taylor, Autumn Russell, Olivia Farmer, Sophie Bormann, Libby | 19 | | Conkle, Adalyn Gower, Brooklynn Burnett, Emma Brugger, Elise | 20 | | Coakley, Clara Elliott, Katie Frazine, Hannah Heine, Kaity |
