| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Roberta | 4 | | "Bobbie" Likes of Quincy, who passed away on October 31, 2021; | 5 | | and
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Bobbie Likes was born in Lewistown, Missouri to | 7 | | Clarence and Alice (Merrell) Myers on March 6, 1932; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Bobbie Likes was a realtor for Davis and Frese | 9 | | Realtors for over 35 years; she had currently been employed by | 10 | | State Senator Jil Tracy since 2009 and State Representative | 11 | | Randy Frese since 2015; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Bobbie Likes had been a leader in the Republican | 13 | | Women's Association for over 50 years; she was active in all | 14 | | things political; among her favorite things were her miniature | 15 | | white poodles; she loved her family and wonderful cousins and | 16 | | the GOP; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Bobbie Likes was preceded in death by her parents | 18 | | and her sister, Dorothy Roberson, along with her husband, | 19 | | Louis; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Bobbie Likes is survived by her daughter, Donna |

| 1 | | Burke; her granddaughters, Candi Fusco and Lori Johnson and | 2 | | her husband, Jamie; her great-grandson, Blake Johnson and his | 3 | | wife, Abigail, and their children, Caleb, Cohen, and | 4 | | Presliegh; her great-grandson, Brendon Johnson and his wife, | 5 | | Ariel; her nephew, Phillip Roberson and his wife, Bonnie; and | 6 | | numerous other relatives, including a great-nephew, a | 7 | | great-niece, cousins, and an unofficial adopted son, Jerry | 8 | | March; therefore, be it
| 9 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | 10 | | HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | 11 | | we mourn the passing of Roberta "Bobbie" Likes and extend our | 12 | | sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew | 13 | | and loved her; and be it further
