| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Hollie | 4 | | Joy Hutchins of Dallas City, who passed away on August 24, | 5 | | 2017; and
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Hollie Hutchins was born in Chicago to Orval and | 7 | | Lois Paulas Erdman on September 12, 1942; she grew up in New | 8 | | Lenox and graduated from Lincoln Way High School in 1961; she | 9 | | married Frank O. Hutchins in Joliet on January 24, 1976; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Hollie Hutchins worked at the National Bank in | 11 | | Joliet in the 1970s; she later worked for the Dallas City | 12 | | Elementary School for 29 years, as the librarian and as an aide | 13 | | for the Title 1 program; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Hollie Hutchins served as a Cub Scout leader and | 15 | | was a volunteer at the nursing home in Roseville; she was a | 16 | | member of the Burnside Christian Church, where she enjoyed | 17 | | helping with Vacation Bible School; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Hollie Hutchins was preceded in death by her | 19 | | parents; her stepfather, Joseph Georgis; and her half sister, | 20 | | Marilyn; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Hollie Hutchins is survived by her husband; her | 2 | | son, Illinois State Police Master Sergeant Joseph (Melissa) | 3 | | Hutchins; her granddaughters, Elyse and Kiersten Hutchins; her | 4 | | brother, Orval Erdman; and her sister, Jane Sparks; therefore, | 5 | | be it
| 6 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | 7 | | HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | 8 | | mourn the passing of Hollie Joy Hutchins, and we extend our | 9 | | sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew | 10 | | and loved her; and be it further
| 11 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 12 | | presented to the family of Hollie Hutchins as an expression of | 13 | | our deepest sympathy.
