| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate Dr. Christine Crouch on | 4 | | the occasion of her retirement as Assistant Director of the | 5 | | Institute for Collaboration at Aurora University; and
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Dr. Christine Crouch spent 14 years of her career | 7 | | in education serving the Aurora West School District 129; she | 8 | | served four years as the Director of Special Education, seven | 9 | | years as the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources, and | 10 | | two years as the Director of Special Projects for Human | 11 | | Resources; she joined the Institute for Collaboration as | 12 | | Assistant Director in 2009; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, As Assistant Director, Dr. Christine Crouch | 14 | | co-authored grants to the McGowan Charitable Fund and the | 15 | | Tellabs Foundation; served on the Community Leaders Committee, | 16 | | working on after-school and summer STEM initiatives, as well as | 17 | | health and wellness projects for seniors and youth; and she | 18 | | served on the IMSP Administrative Team; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Dr. Christine Crouch served as project | 20 | | coordinator for the John C. Dunham STEM Partnership School; as | 21 | | a part of that initiative, among her many responsibilities, she | 22 | | wrote grants and fiscal proposals to foundations, |

| 1 | | philanthropic funds, and corporations for STEM curriculum | 2 | | development and construction on the school; she facilitated | 3 | | logistics for the school including teacher and administrator | 4 | | selection criteria, student section criteria, professional | 5 | | development, and governance-related issues; and worked to | 6 | | develop strategies to replicate the STEM Partnership School | 7 | | model in other Illinois communities; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Dr. Christine Crouch received her Bachelor of | 9 | | Science in Education at Western Illinois University; she later | 10 | | attended Northern Illinois University where she completed her | 11 | | Master of Science in Education, an Educational Leadership | 12 | | Certificate Program, and other post-graduate work; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Throughout her career Dr. Christine Crouch has | 14 | | conducted presentations and attended conferences focused on | 15 | | building partnerships and collaborative relationships to | 16 | | develop STEM programs in schools; she published, "STEM School | 17 | | Offers Strong Foundation for Students" in the Illinois Business | 18 | | Leader in 2015; therefore, be it
| 19 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | 20 | | HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | 21 | | congratulate Dr. Christine Crouch on the occasion of her | 22 | | retirement as Assistant Director of the Institute for | 23 | | Collaboration at Aurora University, and thank her for her |
