| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of Adolf "Chris" Schnepple of Silvis, who | 4 | | passed away on May 21, 2021; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Chris Schnepple was born to Adolf G. and Barbara | 6 | | (Stotz) Schnepple in Moline on May 24, 1932; he was a U.S. | 7 | | veteran who served in Korea; he married Nancy J. Johnson in | 8 | | Moline on October 5, 1957, and she preceded him in death in | 9 | | 1981; he married Linda Rosenstiel in Silvis on April 25, 1998, | 10 | | and she preceded him in death in 2011; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Chris Schnepple worked as a plumber for 45 years | 12 | | with Allison and Albrecht and later with Rock Island Plumbing; | 13 | | and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Chris Schnepple was a member of Local 25 of the | 15 | | Plumbers and Pipefitters union and the Silvis Eagles and a | 16 | | lifetime member of the Moline VFW; he was also a member of St. | 17 | | Mark's Anglican Church in Silvis; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Chris Schnepple was preceded in death by his | 19 | | parents; his first wife; and his second wife; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Chris Schnepple is survived by his children, |

| 1 | | James (Becky) Schnepple, Barb Schnepple, Linda (Mark) Belman, | 2 | | and Sue Zimmer; his eight grandchildren; his five | 3 | | great-grandchildren; his stepson, Robbie Gresham; his two | 4 | | step-grandchildren, Jacob and Jenna; and his sister, Anna | 5 | | Donahue; therefore, be it
| 6 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL | 7 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 8 | | Adolf "Chris" Schnepple and extend our sincere condolences to | 9 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 10 | | further
| 11 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 12 | | presented to the family of Chris Schnepple as an expression of | 13 | | our deepest sympathy.
