| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Michael J. "Mike" Wildman of Monticello, | 4 | | who passed away on April 1, 2019; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Mike Wildman was born in Decatur to Roger L. and | 6 | | Phyllis (Huffmaster) Wildman on June 17, 1960; he graduated | 7 | | from Sullivan High School in 1978, where he participated in | 8 | | golf, baseball, football, and basketball; his senior year he | 9 | | participated in the Illinois High School Association state | 10 | | basketball tournament in Champaign; he graduated from Purdue | 11 | | University in 1982 and married Dawn Vannice in August of 1982; | 12 | | he married Ann Power at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Champaign | 13 | | on June 16, 1990; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Mike Wildman was a department head for The Home | 15 | | Depot; he served as Monticello Township Supervisor; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Mike Wildman was a member of the National Rifle | 17 | | Association, the Purdue Alumni Association, the Piatt County | 18 | | Republican Party, and St. Philomena Catholic Church in | 19 | | Monticello; he enjoyed golfing, building models, and watching | 20 | | old Westerns; he was a sports fan and an avid fan of the | 21 | | Illini; he was also a history buff; he coached all his children | 22 | | in youth sports and enjoyed watching them grow in whatever they |

| 2 | | WHEREAS, Mike Wildman was preceded in death by his first | 3 | | wife, Dawn; his father; and his grandparents; and
| 4 | | WHEREAS, Mike Wildman is survived by his wife, Ann Power | 5 | | Wildman; his children, Patrick, Katherine, and Brandon; his | 6 | | mother, Phyllis Wildman; and his brother, Chris Wildman; | 7 | | therefore, be it
| 8 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | 9 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 10 | | Michael J. "Mike" Wildman and extend our sincere condolences to | 11 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 12 | | further
