| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of Ronald Gene Wahl of Gillespie, who | 4 | | passed away on April 25, 2022; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Ronald Wahl was born to Percy Wahl and Velma | 6 | | Ayers Wahl in Rockbridge on August 18, 1944; he married Linda | 7 | | Kay Neff; he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War; | 8 | | and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Ronald Wahl retired after serving as a meat | 10 | | cutter for a grocery store; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Ronald Wahl enjoyed woodworking and gardening; he | 12 | | also enjoyed spending time with his family and being outdoors; | 13 | | and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Ronald Wahl was preceded in death by his parents; | 15 | | his brother, Donald Wahl; his sister, Elizabeth Wahl; and his | 16 | | son-in-law, Ken Wasylenko; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Ronald Wahl is survived by his spouse, Linda | 18 | | Wahl; his children, Christie Wasylenko, Tracy (Dustin) Favre, | 19 | | Erin (Steth) Wahl, and Brianne (Matt) Nolan; his | 20 | | grandchildren, Samantha Wasylenko, Taylor (Dylan) Fuda, Tori |
