| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Jessie Vinke Ten Pas of Waukegan, who | 4 | | passed away on November 27, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Jessie Vinke Ten Pas was born in Chicago to | 6 | | Garrett and Louise Juerke on July 15, 1933; she graduated from | 7 | | Harper High School in Chicago and attended Christian Bible | 8 | | College in Springfield, Missouri; she married Lawrence V. Ten | 9 | | Pas at Redeemer Luther Church in Chicago on December 2, 1956; | 10 | | and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Jessie Vinke Ten Pas loved being a homemaker, | 12 | | cooking, and decorating; she enjoyed visiting Mt. Rainier, | 13 | | studying her Bible, and hosting house parties; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Jessie Vinke Ten Pas is survived by her husband, | 15 | | Lawrence; her children, Janet Ten Pas Harper, Lawrie (William) | 16 | | Music, and Lawrence J. (Amy) Ten Pas; her grandchildren, Kelly | 17 | | Bailey, Kaitlyn Music-Mix, Stephanie Music, Hanna TenPas, Joel | 18 | | TenPas, and David TenPas; and her great-grandchildren, Harper | 19 | | Mix and David Bailey; therefore, be it
