| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of Robert C. "Bob" Clark of Wyoming, who | 4 | | passed on January 13, 2023; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Bob Clark was born in Chicago to Harry W. and | 6 | | Jeanette I. (McCullough) Clark on April 3, 1943; he served in | 7 | | the United States Air Force from 1960 to 1970, which included a | 8 | | tour of duty in Vietnam; he married Sandra
A. "Sandi" (Ferris) | 9 | | Webber on July 7, 1979; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Bob Clark spent several years in law enforcement, | 11 | | last serving in that field as Wyoming Chief of Police; later,
| 12 | | he worked as a maintenance technician in various area | 13 | | hospitals, retiring from OSF in 2012; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Bob Clark was a member of the Wyoming American | 15 | | Legion for 44 years, serving as both Post 91 Commander and 16th | 16 | | District
Commander; he was part of the Central Illinois World | 17 | | War II Reenactors and sought to keep the history of World War | 18 | | II alive
for future generations; he served many years as a Boy | 19 | | Scout Master for local Boy Scout Troop 142; his greatest joy | 20 | | was spending time with his growing family and his friends; and | 21 | | WHEREAS, Bob Clark sang and played country-western music |

| 1 | | for over 60 years, including performing at many local events | 2 | | with Country
Edition, a band he and a group of musician friends | 3 | | organized; and
| 4 | | WHEREAS, Bob Clark was preceded in death by his parents; | 5 | | his sister, Penny Ann Byrd; his brothers-in-law, Larry Byrd, | 6 | | James Tiller, and
Charles "David" Rachel; and his | 7 | | great-granddaughter, Rorie Mae Hendrick; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Bob Clark is survived by his wife, Sandi; his
| 9 | | daughter, Terri (Kelvin) Dudley; Sandi's children, Lynne | 10 | | (Paul) Knobloch, Wendy (Tim) Wagner, and Rich (Tanya)
Webber; | 11 | | his grandchildren, Zach (Daniela) Knobloch, Chelsea (Derek)
| 12 | | Hendrick, Shelby (Kolby) Haars, Logan Knobloch (Cassidy | 13 | | Baxter), Mark Wagner, Evan (Courtney) Webber,
