1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2371
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2371 on page 7,
3 line 22, by deleting "or"; and

4 on page 7, line 23, immediately after "Defenders" by inserting
5 ", Assistant Appellate Prosecutors, or attorneys in the office
6 of the Cook County Public Guardian so long as the duties and
7 responsibilities performed by a given position do not
8 otherwise establish those Assistant State's Attorneys,
9 Assistant Public Defenders, Assistant Appellate Prosecutors,
10 Assistant Appellate Defenders, or attorneys in the office of
11 the Cook County Public Guardian as managerial employees as
12 defined in this Act. Assistant State's Attorneys, Assistant
13 Public Defenders, Assistant Appellate Prosecutors, Assistant
14 Appellate Defenders, and attorneys in the office of the Cook
15 County Public Guardian shall not be determined to be
16 managerial employees as a matter of law".
