1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2240
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2240 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:

4     "Section 5. The P-20 Longitudinal Education Data System
5 Act is amended by adding Section 45 as follows:

6     (105 ILCS 13/45 new)
7     Sec. 45. Data on enrollment of students in community
8 college remediation courses.
9     (a) Upon the completion and posting of the Illinois State
10 School Report Card, individualized disaggregated data on the
11 enrollment of students in community college remediation
12 courses from the most recently completed academic year shall
13 be made available to school districts on an annual basis by a
14 data sharing agreement consistent with the following:
15         (1) The State Education Authorities shall disclose
16     data from the longitudinal data system collected only in

1     connection with a data sharing arrangement meeting the
2     requirements of this Section.
3         (2) The requirements of Section 25.
4     (b) The data shall not be used in the evaluation of
5 licensed educators.".
