1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 6
2     AMENDMENT NO. ___. Amend House Joint Resolution 6 as
3 follows:

4 on page 4, line 1, by replacing "3" with "1"; and

5 on page 4, line 4, by replacing "3" with "1"; and

6 on page 4, line 6, by replacing "3" with "1"; and

7 on page 4, line 8, by replacing "3" with "1"; and

8 on page 4, line 15, by deleting "and"; and

9 on page 4, lines 17 and 18, by deleting "and be it further";
10 and

1 on page 4, after line 18, by inserting the following:
2         "(9) 2 members who are experts in property law or
3     heirs' property issues appointed by the Governor; and
4         (10) 1 member from an organization or nonprofit
5     dedicated to improving the quality of life for Black
6     families appointed by the Speaker of the House; and be it
7     further

8     RESOLVED, That the Task Force shall elect one of the
9 legislative members to serve as chair; and be it further".
