1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5574
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5574 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:

4     "Section 5. The Illinois Highway Code is amended by adding
5 Section 5-917.1 as follows:

6     (605 ILCS 5/5-917.1 new)
7     Sec. 5-917.1. Repeal of road improvement impact fee by
8 ordinance or resolution. If DuPage County has adopted and
9 implemented a road improvement impact fee by ordinance or
10 resolution and repeals the ordinance or resolution, the
11 collected fees, along with any accrued interest, in the
12 existing impact fee accounts shall be transferred to a
13 transportation account to be used for capacity-related
14 improvements. Valid impact fee refunds shall be processed in
15 accordance with the procedures set forth in the repealed
16 ordinance or resolution.".
