AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5277

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5277 on page 1, immediately above line 4, by inserting the following:

"Section 1. Findings. The General Assembly finds and declares that since the federal government has launched the America the Beautiful Challenge, whose goals include expanding access to the outdoors, particularly in underserved communities, formed the Federal Interagency Council on Outdoor Recreation (FICOR), to create more safe, affordable, and equitable opportunities for Americans to get outdoors, and there are currently several federal funding programs aimed at improving equitable access to the outdoors, including the Active Transportation Infrastructure Investment Program (ATIIP), the Neighborhood Access & Equity Grant Program, the Reconnecting Communities Pilot Program, the Delta Regional Authority's Strategic Planning Grant Program, and the Bridge Investment Program, a goal of this Act is to capture and use federal funds from these existing programs or any programs that would become available in the future."; and

on page 2, line 1, after "shelters,", by inserting "bikeshare infrastructure,".
