1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3957
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3957, AS AMENDED,
3 with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No.
4 1, on page 5, by replacing lines 1 through 11 with the
5 following:
6 "For the purpose of the enforcement of this Act, the
7 Director of Healthcare and Family Services shall notify the
8 Attorney General of any increase in the price of any essential
9 off-patent or generic drug under the Medical Assistance
10 Program under Section V of the Illinois Public Aid Code that
11 amounts to price gouging."; and

12 on page 5, line 15, by replacing "shall" with "may".
