AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3849

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3849 on page 1, by replacing lines 9 through 13 with the following:

""Quality date" means a date on a label affixed to the packaging or a container of food that communicates to consumers the date after which the food quality may begin to deteriorate but the food may still be acceptable for consumption."; and

on page 2, by replacing lines 22 through 26 with "shall be deposited into the Food and Drug Safety Fund.".
