AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3570

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3570 on page 5, by replacing lines 10 and 11 with the following:

"(1) rating data for the last evaluation cycle prior to the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 103rd General Assembly for which there is complete data as well as the first complete evaluation cycle after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 103rd General Assembly for all probationary teachers and"; and

on page 5, by replacing lines 14 and 15 with the following:

"(2) rating data for the last evaluation cycle prior to the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 103rd General Assembly for which there is complete data as well as the first complete evaluation cycle after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 103rd General Assembly for all probationary teachers and"; and

on page 5, line 22, after "educators.", by inserting "Peer mentors or coaches assigned to educators shall be employed in the same or substantially similar grade level, subject area, or clinical specialty, have at least 5 years' experience as an educator, and complete a required training experience."; and

on page 5, by deleting lines 23 through 25.
