AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3046

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3046, AS AMENDED,
3with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment
4No. 3, on page 1, line 5, by replacing "Section 12" with
5"Sections 3.145, 3.365, and 12"; and
 
6on page 1, immediately below line 6, by inserting the
7following:
 
8    "(415 ILCS 5/3.145)  (was 415 ILCS 5/3.05)
9    Sec. 3.145. Community water supply. "Community water
10supply" means a public water supply which serves or is
11intended to serve at least 15 service connections used by
12residents or regularly serves at least 25 residents for the
13purpose of drinking, and which serves or is intended to serve
14at least 50 service connections or regularly serves at least
15100 residents for the purpose of general domestic use.
16    "Non-community water supply" means a public water supply

1that is not a community water supply. The requirements of this
2Act shall not apply to non-community water supplies.

4    (415 ILCS 5/3.365)  (was 415 ILCS 5/3.28)
5    Sec. 3.365. Public water supply. "Public water supply"
6means all mains, pipes and structures through which water is
7obtained and distributed to the public, including wells and
8well structures, intakes and cribs, pumping stations,
9treatment plants, reservoirs, storage tanks and appurtenances,
10collectively or severally, actually used or intended for use
11for the purpose of furnishing water for drinking or general
12domestic use and which serve at least 15 service connections
13or which regularly serve at least 25 persons at least 60 days
14per year. "Public water supply" also includes all mains,
15pipes, and structures through which water is obtained and
16distributed to the public, including wells and well
17structures, intakes and cribs, pumping stations, treatment
18plants, reservoirs, storage tanks and appurtenances,
19collectively or severally, actually used or intended for use
20for the purpose of furnishing water for general domestic use
21and which serve at least 50 service connections or which
22regularly serve at least 100 persons at least 120 days per
23year. A public water supply is either a "community water
24supply" or a "non-community water supply".
