LGBTQ+ Pride Month. The month of June of each | 7 | | year is designated as LGBTQ+ Pride Month to be observed | 8 | | throughout the State as a month to recognize the beautiful | 9 | | diversity of LGBTQ+ communities while acknowledging that the | 10 | | movement to advance the human rights of LGBTQ+ persons has | 11 | | been one of both struggle and progress and that all | 12 | | Illinoisans can contribute to the movement by uplifting | 13 | | inclusion and equity for all. | 14 | | (5 ILCS 490/5.09 new) | 15 | | Sec. 5.09.
