AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 812

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 812 by replacing
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:
 
4    "Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Sections
52-3.182, 10-20.75, and 34-18.67 as follows:
 
6    (105 ILCS 5/2-3.182 new)
7    Sec. 2-3.182. Annual census of personnel holding school
8support personnel endorsements.
9    (a) In this Section:
10    "School support personnel endorsement" means an
11endorsement affixed to a Professional Educator License as
12referenced in subparagraph (G) of paragraph (2) of Section
1321B-25 of this Code.
14    "Special education joint agreement" means an entity formed
15pursuant to Section 10-22.31 of this Code.
16    (b) No later than December 1, 2023 and each December 1st

1annually thereafter, the State Board of Education must make
2available on its website the following information for each
3school district as of October 1st of each year beginning in
42022:
5        (1) The total number of personnel with a school
6    support personnel endorsement and, for each endorsement
7    area:
8            (A) those actively employed on a full-time basis
9        by the school district;
10            (B) those actively employed on a part-time basis
11        by the school district; and
12            (C) those actively employed by a special education
13        joint agreement providing services to students in the
14        school district.
15        (2) The total number of students enrolled in the
16    school district and, of that total, the number of students
17    with an individualized education program or a plan
18    pursuant to Section 504 of the federal Rehabilitation Act
19    of 1973.
 
20    (105 ILCS 5/10-20.75 new)
21    Sec. 10-20.75. School support personnel reporting. No
22later than December 1, 2022 and each December 1st annually
23thereafter, each school district must report to the State
24Board of Education the information with regard to the school
25district as of October 1st of each year beginning in 2022 as

1described in subsection (b) of Section 2-3.182 of this Code
2and must make that information available on its website.
 
3    (105 ILCS 5/34-18.67 new)
4    Sec. 34-18.67. School support personnel reporting. No
5later than December 1, 2022 and each December 1st annually
6thereafter, the school district must report to the State Board
7of Education the information with regard to the school
8district as of October 1st of each year beginning in 2022 as
9described in subsection (b) of Section 2-3.182 of this Code
10and must make that information available on its website.".
