1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5295
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5295 as follows:

3 on page 3, line 12, after "Diseases Act", by inserting "as a
4 result of the policeman's secondary employment"; and

5 on page 3, line 21, after the period, by inserting "The
6 calculation of compensation received by the policeman as
7 provided in this Section shall not take into consideration any
8 benefits received under the Line of Duty Compensation Act.";
9 and

10 on page 3, line 25, after "Act", by inserting "as a result of
11 the policeman's secondary employment"; and

12 on page 4, line 9, after the period, by inserting "The
13 calculation of compensation received by the widow, child or
14 children, or parent or parents of a policeman, or any of these

1 persons, as provided in this Section shall not take into
2 consideration any benefits received under the Line of Duty
3 Compensation Act or the Public Safety Officers Benefits Act of
4 1976, 34 U.S.C. 10281 et seq.".
