2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 
3represented in the General Assembly: 

 
4    Section 5. The Uniform Partnership Act (1997) is amended 
5by changing Section 1002 as follows:

7    Sec. 1002. Name. The
The name of a limited liability 
8partnership must end with "Registered Limited
Liability

9Partnership", "Limited Liability Partnership", "R.L.L.P.", 
10"L.L.P.", "RLLP", or
"LLP".
