1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 434
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 434 on page 36,
3 line, 5, by inserting after the comma the following:
4 "and except records concerning the offenses of criminal sexual
5 assault, aggravated criminal sexual assault, predatory
6 criminal sexual assault of a child, criminal sexual abuse, or
7 aggravated criminal sexual abuse, domestic battery, or
8 aggravated domestic battery,"; and

9 on page 40, by inserting immediately below line 1 the
10 following:
11             "(N) Effect of acquittals. Arrests or charges that
12         result in acquittals shall not be used as the basis for
13         penalty enhancements in subsequent criminal
14         prosecutions.".
