1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1490
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1490 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:

4     "Section 5. The Local Food, Farms, and Jobs Act is amended
5 by changing Section 5 as follows:

6     (30 ILCS 595/5)
7     Sec. 5. Definitions. "Local farm or food products" are
8 products: (1) grown in Illinois; or (2) ~~,~~ processed and ~~,~~
9 packaged in Illinois, using at least one ingredient grown in ~~,~~
10 ~~and distributed by Illinois citizens or businesses located~~
11 ~~wholly within the borders of~~ Illinois.
