2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3503, AS AMENDED,
3 with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No.
4 2, on page 8, by replacing lines 18 through 20 with the
5 following:
6 "(d) Nothing in this Section precludes an insured from
7 selecting a hearing instrument that costs more than the amount
8 covered by a plan of accident and health insurance or a managed
9 care plan and paying the uncovered cost at his or her own
10 expense.".
