| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Raymond Lewis "Ray" Hoselton of Chenoa, | 4 | | who passed away on August 24, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Ray Hoselton was born in Fairbury to Clarence T. | 6 | | and Marcella (Friederich) Hoselton on March 27, 1943; he | 7 | | graduated from Chenoa High School in 1961; he then played | 8 | | football at the University of Illinois from 1961 until 1962; he | 9 | | married Sharon Cottrell at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in | 10 | | Chenoa on July 25, 1964; he later played semi-professional | 11 | | football for the Twin City Trojans from 1968 until 1970; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Ray Hoselton was the owner and operator of the | 13 | | family business, Union Roofing, Inc., Chenoa; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Ray Hoselton was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic | 15 | | Church in Chenoa, the Knights of Columbus, the Chenoa Jaycees, | 16 | | and the Pontiac Elks Club; he was supportive of his children | 17 | | and grandchildren's sporting events; he was an avid golfer; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Ray Hoselton was preceded in death by his wife, | 19 | | Sharon; his parents; his brothers, Ted and Stan Hoselton; and | 20 | | his sister, Marcella Oltman; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Ray Hoselton is survived by his children, Rod | 2 | | (Mari Lynn) Hoselton, Stacie (Bill) Casner, Doug (Renee) | 3 | | Hoselton, Jeff (Traci) Hoselton, and Suzanne Hoselton; his | 4 | | grandchildren, Andy, Brad, Brooke, Katie, Billy, Claire, | 5 | | Addison, Connor, Riley, Drew, Sydney, Brandon, Lauren, Chloe, | 6 | | Josh, and Brock; his eight great-grandchildren; and his many | 7 | | nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
| 8 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 9 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 10 | | Raymond Lewis "Ray" Hoselton and extend our sincere condolences | 11 | | to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be | 12 | | it further
