SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Nancy Ann Crement of Carpentersville, who
4passed away on January 9, 2017 at the age of 73; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Nancy Crement was born in Chicago to Edwin and
6Irma Schultz on February 13, 1943; she married her high school
7sweetheart and the love of her life, David E. Crement; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Nancy Crement dedicated her entire life to helping
9others with all the positivity and enthusiasm one would expect;
10she excelled as a drug and alcohol counselor, focusing her
11talents on working with troubled teens; she also volunteered
12for many years with the Girl Scouts of America; following her
13retirement, she served as a substitute teacher for Huntley
14District 158, which she dearly loved; she was also a member of
15the Knitters Guild of America; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Nancy Crement was a devoted and caring wife,
17mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was loved by all
18who knew her; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Nancy Crement was preceded in death by her
20parents; and her great-granddaughters, Jordyn Schwab and
21Audrey Schwab; and

1    WHEREAS, Nancy Crement is survived by her husband; her
2daughters, Susan Kay Crement and Beverly Ann Smith (Joe
3Smithwick); her brother, William (Shirley) Stalley; her
4grandchildren, Joseph (Katlyn) Schwab, Jeremy (Brittany)
5Schwab, David Myszczcak (Danielle Barnewolt), Zaine and Ava
6Smithwick; and her great-granddaughter, Joslyn Schwab;
7therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10Nancy Ann Crement, and extend our sincere condolences to her
11family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
12further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Nancy Crement as an expression of
15our deepest sympathy.
