SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Lucille Weller of Palmyra, who passed
4away on January 12, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Lucille Weller was born in Chesterfield to Orin
6and Erma Wheeler Wyzard on May 5, 1936; she graduated from
7Carlinville High School and married Lawrence Edward Weller in
8Palmyra on December 24, 1958; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Lucille Weller farmed alongside her husband for
10many years; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Lucille Weller enjoyed being with her family,
12reading, sewing, and gardening; she was a member of the Palmyra
13First Baptist Church; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Lucille Weller was preceded in death by her
15parents; her husband, Lawrence; and her sister and
16brother-in-law, Alice and Dean Stults; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Lucille Weller is survived by her daughters, Linda
18(John) Ambrose, Deanna Weller, and Susie (Jim) Gracey; her son,
19Wayne (Shanda) Weller; her grandchildren, Valerie (Kevin)
20Simpson, Lindsey Heigert, Cassey Gracey, Corey Gracey, Jamie

1Straub, Katie Weller, and Jason Weller; her great-grandson,
2K.J. Simpson; her step-great-grandchildren, Samantha Simpson,
3and Tyler Simpson; and her nephew, Don (Ilene) Stults;
4therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Lucille Weller, and extend our sincere condolences to her
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Lucille Weller as an expression of
12our deepest sympathy.
