AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5340

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5340, on page 5, by
3replacing lines 19 through 21 with the following:
4        "3. failed to pay any fees owed to the Secretary of
5    State under this Code for the license or permit , civil
6    penalties owed to the Illinois Commerce Commission, or
7    taxes due under this Act and upon reasonable notice and
8    demand; or"; and
 
9on page 8, by replacing lines 12 through 18 with the following:
10        "9. has been convicted of a sex offense as defined in
11    the Sex Offender Registration Act. The driver's license
12    shall remain cancelled until the driver registers as a sex
13    offender as required by the Sex Offender Registration Act,
14    proof of the registration is furnished to the Secretary of
15    State and the sex offender provides proof of current
16    address to the Secretary; or"; and

1on page 20, line 21, by changing "if the vehicle is set in
2motion" to "if the person exercised actual physical control
3over the vehicle during the commission of the offense"; and
 
4on page 38, lines 10 and 11, by changing "if the violation
5involves operating the vehicle" to "if the person exercised
6actual physical control over the vehicle during the commission
7of the offense"; and
 
8on page 43, by replacing lines 6 through 10 with the following:
9        "43. Has received a disposition of court supervision
10    for a violation of subsection (a), (d), or (e) of Section
11    6-20 of the Liquor Control Act of 1934 or a similar
12    provision of a local ordinance and the person was an
13    occupant of a motor vehicle at the time of the violation,
14    in which case the suspension shall be for a period of 3
15    months;"; and
 
16on page 43, by replacing lines 24 and 25 with the following:
17        "46. Has committed a violation of subsection (j) of
18    Section 3-413 of this Code;"; and
 
19on page 81 by replacing lines 11 and 12 with the following:
 
20    "Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,
212019.".
