1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1896
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1896, AS AMENDED, by
3 replacing everything after the enacting clause with the
4 following:

5     "Section 5. The Township Code is amended by adding Section
6 30-22 as follows:

7     (60 ILCS 1/30-22 new)
8     Sec. 30-22. Accumulation of funds. Township funds,
9 excluding the township's capital fund, shall not exceed an
10 amount equal to or greater than 2.5 times the annual average
11 expenditure of the previous 3 fiscal years.

12     Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
13 becoming law.".
