| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Margaret Manke of Woodstock, who passed | 4 | | away on January 5, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Margaret Manke was born in Woodstock on July 6, | 6 | | 1922 to Herman and Mary (nee Buttino) Gluth; she married Harvey | 7 | | Manke on August 9, 1941 in Woodstock; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Margaret Manke was a lifetime member of St. John's | 9 | | Lutheran Church in Woodstock; she was active in many church | 10 | | activities, including Meals on Wheels and the Ladies Aid; she | 11 | | enjoyed spending Tuesday nights at the bake house singing and | 12 | | dancing to polka music with her many friends and spending time | 13 | | with her family, especially her grandchildren and | 14 | | great-grandchildren; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Margaret Manke was preceded in death by her | 16 | | parents; her husband, Harvey; her daughter-in-law, Sandy | 17 | | Manke; her 2 brothers, Jim Gluth and Mike Gluth; and her | 18 | | sister, Christine Gluth; and
