1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1498
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1498 on page 2,
3 line 16, after "42 U.S.C. 300hh-15)", by inserting "providing
4 medical care without charge to individuals unable to pay for
5 it"; and

6 on page 3, by inserting immediately below line 11 the
7 following:

8 "(f) The changes to this Section made by this amendatory
9 Act of the 99th General Assembly apply only to causes of action
10 accruing on or after the effective date of this amendatory Act
11 of the 99th General Assembly.".
