Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the powers and duties of the Departments of Human Services and Healthcare and Family Services.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning public aid.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by changing Section 12-4 as follows:

(305 ILCS 5/12-4) (from Ch. 23, par. 12-4)

Sec. 12-4. Powers and duties of the Illinois department. In addition to the the powers, duties and functions vested in it by other provisions of this Code or by other laws of this State, the Illinois Department shall have the powers enumerated in Sections 12-4.1 to 12-4.30, inclusive, subject to the conditions therein stated.
