1    AN ACT concerning civil law.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. Upon the payment of the sum of $1 to the State
5of Illinois, and subject to the condition set forth in Section
610 of this Act, the Secretary of Transportation is authorized
7to convey by quitclaim deed to the City of North Chicago all
8right, title and interest in and to the following described
9land in Lake County:
 
10    Lots 16, 17, 18, and 19 in a Subdivision of a Part of
11    Section 4, Township 44 North, Range 12 East of the Third
12    Principal Meridian, according to the plat thereof,
13    recorded April 26, 1893, as document 54346, in Book "C" of
14    Plats, Page 53, in Lake County, Illinois.
 
15    Also, the vacated Alley Northwesterly and Westerly and
16    adjoining Parcel 1, which Parcel 1 is referred to as Lots
17    16, 17, 18, and 19 in the first paragraph of this legal
18    description (except that portion of the Westerly half
19    thereof Easterly and Adjoining Lot "A") as vacated by
20    ordinance recorded June 18, 1920, as document 193658, in
21    Lake County, Illinois.

1    Excepting from all of the above described the easterly 34
2    feet thereof.
 
3    Said parcel containing 0.214 acre, more or less.
 
4    Section 10. The conveyance of real property authorized by
5Section 5 shall be made subject to: (1) existing public
6utilities, existing public roads, and any and all reservations,
7easements, encumbrances, covenants and restrictions of record;
8and (2) the express condition that if the real property ceases
9to be used for a public purpose, which public purpose may
10include, but is not limited to, development of a United States
11Navy museum, it shall revert to the State of Illinois,
12Department of Transportation.
 
13    Section 15. The Secretary of Transportation shall obtain a
14certified copy of the portions of this Act containing the
15title, the enacting clause, the effective date, and the
16appropriate Section or Sections containing the land
17descriptions of the property to be conveyed within 60 days
18after its effective date and, upon receipt of the payment
19required by the Section or Sections, shall record the certified
20document in the Recorder's Office in the County in which the
21land is located.
 
22    Section 20. Upon the payment of the sum of $1 to the State

1of Illinois, and subject to the condition set forth in Section
225 of this Act, the Director of State Police is authorized to
3convey by quitclaim deed to the Village of Crestwood all right,
4title and interest in and to the following described land in
5Cook County:
 
6    The East 270 feet of the West 320 feet of the South 160
7    feet of the Northwest quarter of Section 3, Township 36
8    North, Range 13, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in
9    Cook County, Illinois.
 
10    Section 25. The conveyance of real property authorized by
11Section 20 shall be made subject to: (1) existing public
12utilities, existing public roads, and any and all reservations,
13easements, encumbrances, covenants and restrictions of record;
14and (2) the express condition that if the real property ceases
15to be used for public purposes, it shall revert to the State of
16Illinois, Department of State Police.
 
17    Section 30. The Director of State Police shall obtain a
18certified copy of the portions of this Act containing the
19title, the enacting clause, the effective date, and the
20appropriate Section or Sections containing the land
21descriptions of the property to be conveyed within 60 days
22after its effective date and, upon receipt of the payment
23required by the Section or Sections, shall record the certified

3    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
4becoming law.
