| 1 | | AN ACT concerning education.
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
| 4 | | Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing Section | 5 | | 22-45 as follows: | 6 | | (105 ILCS 5/22-45) | 7 | | Sec. 22-45. Establishing | 17 | | an Illinois P-20 Council will develop a statewide agenda that | 18 | | will move the State towards the common goals of improving | 19 | | academic achievement, increasing college access and success, | 20 | | improving use of existing data and measurements, developing | 21 | | improved accountability, fostering innovative approaches to | 22 | | education, promoting lifelong learning, easing the transition | 23 | | to college, and reducing remediation.
