| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by |
| 5 | | changing Section 351A-2 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (215 ILCS 5/351A-2) (from Ch. 73, par. 963A-2)
|
| 7 | | Sec. 351A-2. Group policy issued in another state. No group |
| 8 | | long-term
care insurance coverage may be offered to a resident |
| 9 | | of this this State under a
group policy issued in another state |
| 10 | | to a group described in paragraph (4)
of subsection (e) of |
| 11 | | Section 351A-1, unless the Director determines that
this State |
| 12 | | or another state having statutory and regulatory long-term care
|
| 13 | | insurance requirements substantially similar to those adopted |
| 14 | | in this State
has made a determination that such requirements |
| 15 | | have been met.
