10 | | If the chairperson of the township central committee fails |
11 | | to meet the requirements of this Section, the chairperson's |
12 | | political party shall not be permitted to nominate a candidate, |
13 | | either by caucus as provided for in this Section or as |
14 | | otherwise authorized by the Election Code, in the next upcoming |
15 | | consolidated election for any office for which a nomination |
16 | | could have been made at the caucus should the chairperson of |
17 | | the township central committee have met the requirements of |
18 | | this Section.

19 | | (b) Except as provided in this Section, the township board |
20 | | shall cause
notices of the caucuses to be published. The notice |
21 | | shall state the time and
place where the caucus for each |
22 | | political party will be held. The board shall
