| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Eleanor Thompson, who passed away on | 4 | | August 4, 2012; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Eleanor Thompson was born on May 31, 1924, in | 6 | | Grayslake; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Eleanor Thompson was employed at Fansteel | 8 | | Metallurgical for 28 years until her retirement in 1986; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Eleanor Thompson was a member of Gurnee Community | 10 | | Church and the Elderberries, a senior women's group; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Eleanor Thompson enjoyed reading and watching | 12 | | movies; and | 13 | | WHEREAS, Eleanor Thompson was preceded in death by her | 14 | | husband, Lloyd Thompson, and her sisters, Margie and Jean; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Eleanor Thompson is survived by her daughter, | 16 | | Marilyn Schmitt; her sons, Ken Thompson (Mitzi Bush) and Bob | 17 | | Thompson; her granddaughters, Jackie (Keith) Beaudoin, Leslie | 18 | | (Nathan) Fenton, Chelsea (Dan) Stanley, and Paige and Madison | 19 | | Thompson; her great-grandchildren, Katherine, Jack, Ellie, and |
