| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Bobbi Lynn (Sims) West of Benton, who | 4 | | passed away on September 28, 2011; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Bobbi was born July 21, 1961, to Bob and Alice | 6 | | (Gray) Sims in Joliet; she was a 1979 graduate of Vienna High | 7 | | School and the school's homecoming queen her senior year; she | 8 | | worked at Marion Eye Center and later at Blue Cross Blue Shield | 9 | | in Marion; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, She was an advocate for breast cancer awareness | 11 | | and annual mammogram check-ups; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice | 13 | | Sims; and her stepson, Travis West; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Bobbi West is survived by her husband, Garry; her | 15 | | children, Heather (Upchurch) Roesch and husband, Jason, Kyle | 16 | | Upchurch, and Bailey Muir; her granddaughter, Jaylyn Roesch; | 17 | | her sisters and brothers-in-law, Sherri Vick and husband, Mark | 18 | | and Lisa Brown and husband, James; her father and stepmother, | 19 | | Bob and Norma Sims; her nieces and nephews, Jonathan Vick and | 20 | | Allyson Vick and Benjamin Brown and AnnaKate Brown; her | 21 | | stepbrother, Darrin Kerr and his wife, Margaret, and their |
