1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3543
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3543 as follows:

3 on page 5, by replacing line 18 with the following:
4             "(F) Three young people who are between the ages of
5         16 and 21 and who are members of the Youth Advisory
6         Group as established in paragraph (2) of this
7         subsection."; and

8 on page 5, by deleting line 19; and

9 on page 7, line 5, by inserting after the period the following:
10 "This youth civic engagement organization shall administer the
11 application requirements and process and shall nominate 30
12 youth. The Department of Human Services shall select 15 of the
13 nominees for the Youth Advisory Group, 3 of whom shall serve on
14 the Council."; and

1 on page 11, by replacing line 15 with the following:
2 "reported to the Governor, the General Assembly, the Council,
3 and the Youth Advisory Group".
