| AN ACT concerning local government.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Local Government Debt Limitation Act is |
| 5 |
| amended by changing Section 1.5b as follows:
|

| Sec. 1.5b.
The
The limitation prescribed in Section 1 of |

| this Act shall not
apply to any indebtedness of any fire |
| 9 |
| protection district to acquire,
establish, maintain and |
| 10 |
| operate fire stations, including the acquisition of
a site or |
| 11 |
| sites therefor, facilities, vehicles, apparatus and equipment |
| 12 |
| for
fire protection purposes. |
