AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2545

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2545 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the following:

"Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by changing Section 9A-2 as follows:

(305 ILCS 5/9A-2) (from Ch. 23, par. 9A-2)

Sec. 9A-2. As used in this Article only, "recipient" means only those persons receiving aid under Article IV for themselves and parents who are ineligible to receive TANF for themselves because of a criminal conviction, but who are receiving aid under Article IV for their children.
