2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2497 on page 9, in
3 line 1, by replacing "district" with "district in its own
4 police department in existence on the effective date of this
5 amendatory Act of the 96th General Assembly"; and

6 on page 11, in line 19, by replacing "officers" with "officers
7 in its own police department in existence on the effective date
8 of this amendatory Act of the 96th General Assembly".
