SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

820 ILCS 180/40

Amends the Victims' Economic Security and Safety Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning posting of certain notices.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning employment.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Victims' Economic Security and Safety Act is amended by changing Section 40 as follows:

(820 ILCS 180/40)

Sec. 40. Notification. Every employer covered by this Act shall post and and keep posted, in conspicuous places on the premises of the employer where notices to employees are customarily posted, a notice, to be prepared or approved by the Director of Labor, summarizing the requirements of this Act and information pertaining to the filing of a charge. The Director shall furnish copies of summaries and rules to employers upon request without charge.
