1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1729
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1729 on page 1, by
3 replacing lines 8 through 11 with the following:

4 "Sec. 2705-441. Intercity passenger rail equipment;
5 public-private partnerships. The Department, on behalf of the
6 State, may enter into public-private partnerships for the
7 acquisition of equipment for intercity passenger rail
8 service.".
